Teacher/Staff WalkAbout Survey

In the spring of 2005, 2007 and 2010, teachers and staff were surveyed regarding their views of Walkabout.  Overall, the teachers and staff feel:

• The WAB program is a positive aspect of the school environment.

• The WAB program builds a stronger sense of community between staff, students and parents.

• Student view WAB parents as being able to help them when they or their friends need assistance.

• The WAB Program reduces negative behavior at the school.

    Survey quotes from teachers/staff:

• "Love having parents on campus, the more the better."

• "Students see that parents care."

• "Adults around campus deter certain actions."

• "Keeps kids safer."

• "Creates a better school environment."

• "I think it's a great program!"

• "Kids know they have support in the hallway if they need it."
