January General Membership Meeting
Mark your calendars for our first General Membership Meeting of 2021, Wednesday, January 27 at 6:30 pm on Zoom. Get involved and stay connected, join us.



ParentWiser Event: Wednesday, January 20, at 4 pm

How do stress and anxiety operate under everyday conditions and at heightened times of concern and disruption? Dr. Lisa Damour will teach us how to keep pressure and tension from reaching toxic levels and she will coach us on how to support our children in cultivating these skills.

Volunteers Needed for IMS Career Fair
The IMS Career Fair is on Tuesday, January 26, in a virtual format.


IMS counselors are looking for parent volunteers to share a short video presentation about their career/job/profession. They are looking for a variety of industries, education levels, and types of careers, so if you or someone you know has a job that you want to share with our middle schoolers, please contact: Kalie Dotson at:  dotsonk@issaquah.wednet.edu

Videos (less than 10 minutes in length) need to be recorded and uploaded to Flipgrid - Click here, between now and January 20.


IMS 2020-2021 Yearbook Purchases & Photo Submissions

Yearbook Deadline:
 Purchase your 2020-21 Yearbook by January 31st HEREYearbooks are $20.00.

Photo Submissions due January 15, 2021 - If you were unable to attend fall Picture Day and would like your student to be included in the yearbook, you can still submit a photo: Use this Form

Cultural Bridges - Issaquah Schools Foundation

The ISF Culture Bridges Magazine Issue #17 is available HEREArticles in this edition: Motivating tweens & teens, Finding balance between school & home and Black voices of the present.The magazine is offered in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Vietnamese and English.

Cultural Bridges compartirá información de los recursos disponibles para las familias del Distrito Escolar de Issaquah sobre: necesidades básicas (renta, comida, etc.), salud mental, becas de impacto de la Fundación Escolar de Issaquah, Conferencia de Grandes Carreras, clases de Inglés como segundo idioma para adultos, entre otros.

Remote Learning Inclement Weather & Power Outage Guidance
Students currently using the ISD L.I.V.E Remote Learning will not have their daily schedules changed or canceled due to snow or other inclement weather. However, power outages and internet disruptions sometimes accompany bad weather and families should save the district guidelines for reference: here.
