OCTOBER 19TH, 2015

President’s letter
When people think about the PTSA they tend to think about activities or events at their child’s school.  However, all PTAs in Washington are part of the Washington State PTA.  The WA State PTA’s strength is in its numbers, and when you add the IM PTSA’s membership to all of the other PTAs in the state we have a powerful voice to advocate for all students across the state.

Thank you for joining the Issaquah Middle PTSA this year.

If you have a passion for increasing educational opportunities for all students, won’t you consider attending the 2015 Washington State PTA Legislative Assembly in Olympia on October 24th?  Scroll down for more information.

You are sure to learn a lot about the legislative process in our state!
LEGISLATIVE
On Saturday, October 24 the Washington State PTA will hold its annual Legislative Assembly in Olympia.  Would you like to be a part of the delegate team from IMS?  The IM PTSA will cover the cost of registration for up to 9 delegates.  This is a great opportunity for the IM PTSA to influence state-wide PTSA legislative priorities that impact all students in the state of Washington.

If you are interested in attending please contact Randi Wright at  before October 20.

Corporate Matching Supports IMS

Last year, IMS missed out on thousands in donations!Don’t let valuable school donations go to waste!

1.  Hundreds of local companies offer matching.  Matching is not just offered by Microsoft, Boeing, and Starbucks.  See if your company matches (hundreds do!) Find out HERE.

2.       Your volunteer hours count as cash!  Many employers now will match your time with dollars.

3.       Claiming your match takes seconds.  We’ve made it as easy for you. Click below to go directly to many common matching forms. Claims are typically accepted within one year of donation so it’s not too late!
