President’s  Letter

Thank you for a great year.  Your support was instrumental in helping the Issaquah Middle PTSA surpass its financial goals.  We were able to supply more funds than we budgeted for, for All School Grants, Gift-a-Book, and the Angel Program.  All thanks to your generous support!

Next year will be filled with new challenges for everyone at IMS as we begin our last year in this building and plan for the big move.  For the PTSA the move will mean the end of Salmon Days Parking.  This means we will lose about $3500 in income, which is equal to the amount of money we supply for the Student Financial Assistance Program.  Your support is crucial to helping us make sure we can continue supporting all students in our community.  Please plan to support IM PTSA in the fall.

I hope everyone has a wonderful summer!
Becky Gordon

Membership

Next year’s membership form will have more options to choose from. In addition to the $25 family option, we will offer a $15 individual membership.  For those families moving up to the high school, but would still like to support IMS, we will offer a $10 Community Membership, this is also a great option for grandparents who want to support their grandchildren’s school and take advantage of the Washington State PTA member benefits.

Income & Expenses 2014-2015

Please check out the following charts to get a snapshot of where our funding comes from and how we disperse those funds to organizations that support education.  I hope you agree we are prudent and thoughtful when it comes to spending IM PTSA funds.

In addition to organizations that support education we also provided $7,625 in support of the Angel Program and another $2,025 for library books at IMS.
