IMS IS MOVING OUT & NEEDS ANY & ALL HELP THIS WEEK!
Do you have an hour or two or even a whole day to help teachers & staff to pack and move this week? Please consider volunteering during the next week to help with the IMS move and/or other tasks at school. Clicking on this link will take you to a sign up which will grow as more volunteer slots are added.
Thank you so much for helping in any capacity during this very busy move season!!
Not sure how you want to help or volunteer next school year? The IM PTSA is building its 2016-2017 leadership team and we want to recruit you! We have an amazing collection of committee chairs already assembled and just a few more openings to fill! If any of these look interesting at all and you would like more information, please reach out to Kristen orWendy Shah.
WELCOME BBQ! Are you the host with the most? Work with the fabulous Becky Gordon to plan and execute a welcome BBQ on August 30th at our brand new school!A great way to help before the year even gets going!!
ADVOCACY/LEGISLATION Are you passionate about educational legislation and love to fire other people up about these issues? Become our advocacy representative. This job entails keeping the general membership up to date on what legislative issues affect the health and welfare of children, as well as to keep us informed about the PTSA Legislative agenda. There are opportunities to attend conferences, but no expectation to do so. This is a great job for someone who likes politics and loves to educate others.
ISF LIAISON If you are a passionate supporter of ISF, then this job is for you! The ISF Liasion is the bridge between PTSA and the foundation. Help keep our PTSA members up to date about the work of the foundation. Help place and pick up Calling For Kids signs in the fall and help fill a table for the luncheon in the spring.
BACKPACK BOOTCAMP Imagine leading a team of volunteers to help kids get control of their binders and backpacks. This program is very new to IMS (we did one round last winter) and could really use a visionary to help take it to the next level.
CORPORATE MATCHING Want to help but on your own time and at home? We would love someone to help track down and claim every donated dollar we get through matching funds.
8th GRADE PARTY Help decorate, find chaperones and procure food for the 8th grade celebration.
What do parents want? That means you!!
Issaquah PTSA Council Parent Ed wants to give it to you! Please help us by completing this brief 1-2 minute survey about parent education offerings https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ParentEd2016. Survey closes Tuesday, June 14th. Thank you!
