Make your mark on the new IMS!
The PTSA is selling bricks this spring as a unique opportunity to be a part of our new building and to raise much needed funds to continue to support all the programs that the PTSA provides, including classroom funds and the Angel Program. The bricks will be permanently installed at the main entrance of the new IMS. Purchase an engraved 4x8 brick for one or all of your children, or for future alumni. Or, make your brick a dedication towards or about the school, such as a favorite activity or memory from IMS. To order yours visit the PTSA websiteor download a paper order form here. If you hahve any questions about the bricks feel free to contact Amy Cancelosi

PBSES Parent Information Night

The Student Support Coaches are hosting a parent information night in May.  The presentations will contain information related to Positive Behavior and Social Emotional Support (PBSES).  The workshop will contain information about what PBSES is and parents can learn about what your child’s school is doing to support the behavioral and social/emotional needs of students.  The Student Support Coaches will be providing information on Growth vs. Fixed Mindset and how what we say can empower our students to build resiliency.  Parents will be provided with evidence-based strategies that are being used at each building and can be used to support their students at home.  There will be an optional Q & A session following the presentation.

Presentations will take place at the middle school and information for parents of students at the middle school and elementary schools in the feeder pattern are welcome to attend.  For IMS and our feeder schools the talk will be on Tuesday, May 3, 2016- Issaquah Middle School with Clark, Cougar Ridge, and Issaquah Valley Elementary schools from 6:30pm to 8pm
