Volunteers for IMS Talent Show

 The students are getting set to show off their talent but they need some help! 

We need one volunteer to make sure that things run smoothly back stage.  This person will need to help during the Dress RehearsalWednesday 4/26 3:00pm to 4:40pm and during the show on Friday 4/28 1:30pm to 4:45pm.

Also, we need two volunteers to sell concessions in the Commons during the show on Friday.

Principal Adams Needs Volunteers!!

The school is in need of 2-3 people the week of April 24th who are willing to come in and help with textbook surplus.  Hours are flexible to your schedule! Please contact Kristen Allen-Bentsen  for more information or to sign up.


COME JOIN TEEN YOGA AT IMS!!
Need some Yoga? Come join Teen Yoga at IMS. Students will learn yoga poses and breathing techniques that will help them with their balance, relaxation, strength, flexibility, concentration and confidence with, RYT-200 certified, instructors Heidi Dickinson and Angela Watson. Classes are every Friday, starting April 21st – June 9th from 2:15pm -3:15pm.  Cost for this 8-week session is $80 ($10/class). Click here (Please insert link for flyer) for more information. TUESDAY & THURSDAY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AT LUNCH

Support is needed for teachers who are trying to help students with missing assignments at lunch. Sign-up once or as many times as you like each week! It is super easy and the teachers REALLY APPRECIATE the help! Duties include:

  • Obtain list of students from office
  • Turn on 5-6 Surfaces for students to use
  • Going to lunchroom and asking for kids to be called over loudspeaker
  • Keeping track of who attended and whether work is completed

2. Don't miss Jessica Lahey's talk: REGISTER to join us at 10am or 7pm on April 25th to hear Ms. Lahey's potentially life-changing message. You will not want to miss it! (ALMOST SOLD OUT .Walk-ins welcome if space available.)

 

3. Debrief Discussion: Join us on May 22nd  at 7pm in the IMS Library to debrief your key takeaways from the book and/or her talk. See you then!
