The IM PTSA is collecting donations for the Lunch for the Break program run through the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank. If you would like to help, please SIGN UP HERE!!!. Our goal is to fill 5 complete boxes. However, we will collect more of the same items on the shopping list. Donations can be dropped off in the school office Monday, March 20 through Monday April 3. We are also collecting new or gently used children and young adult books for Lunch for the Break.

COME JOIN TEEN YOGA AT IMS!! Need some Yoga? Come join Teen Yoga at IMS. Students will learn yoga poses and breathing techniques that will help them with their balance, relaxation, strength, flexibility, concentration and confidence with, RYT-200 certified, instructors Heidi Dickinson and Angela Watson. Classes are every Friday, starting April 21st – June 9th from 2:15pm -3:15pm. Cost for this 8-week session is $80 ($10/class). Click here for more information. Support is needed for teachers who are trying to help students with missing assignments at lunch. Sign-up once or as many times as you like each week! It is super easy and the teachers REALLY APPRECIATE the help! Duties include:
Obtain list of students from office
Turn on 5-6 Surfaces for students to use
Going to lunchroom and asking for kids to be called over loudspeaker
Keeping track of who attended and whether work is completed

Outstanding Educator Awards Due SOON!! PLEASE SUBMIT A NOMINATION
Outstanding Educator Award honors educators (teacher, assistant, custodian, bus driver, administrator, faculty member)who have gone above and beyond for your IMS student and has had a positive influence in his or her life. The Outstanding Educator Award is your chance to say thank you. It was created to recognize individuals who have provided outstanding educational opportunities for youth that are above and beyond the normal scope of their job. Please talk with your student about the Outstanding Educator Award and personally nominate or encourage them to nominate someone. The 2016 recipients: Tim Baynes, Barbara Galler, Lindsay Laing.
Nominations for Outstanding Educator Award will be accepted until April 3, 2017 and can be submitted through the Online form or through the Paper form
