GRANOLA BARS!! We need 20 boxes of granola bars to feed our hungry kids!

Please consider donating nut free granola bars to the office for kids who don't have breakfast in the morning or who are hungry and need a snack during the day so they can focus. It is as simple as grabbing a box the next time you are at Costco or the grocery store and sending them in with your kiddo.

IMS REACHES OUT FAR AND WIDE!!

This December the IMS community collected gifts, funds, and food for two of the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank’s programs.  A huge thank you to all of the families who participated. The IMS ASB students collected over 800 gifts for the Holiday Gift Barn and collected an additional $542.04 at the Band, Orchestra, and Choir concerts.  A special thank you to Katja Bakker, Madeleine Erhardt, Amy Cancelosi, and Gurpreet Erickson who helped with transporting all the gifts to Pickering Barn, and to Becky Gordon for coordinating this outreach effort. We also collected food for the Lunch for the Break program last week.  The IM PTSA registered to donate five boxes.  As of Friday, December 16 we filled a total of seven boxes!  These boxes were delivered on the 16th and families picked them up on the 17th!!

January Walkabout Training!

Come get involved in Walkabout!  Walkabout is a parent volunteer, PTSA sponsored, school loved organization that places parents on campus to be a positive presence during high traffic times (before school, during lunch and after school).  Training is once per lifetime during your children's tenure at IMS but is required before you can participate in the program.  Please join Principal Seth Adams and Walkabout co-chairs Julie Dietiker and Blyth Claeys for our 2nd and final training on Wednesday, January 25th, from 6:30 – 8:00pm in the school library.  We need YOU! Questions?  Contact Julie Dietiker/Blyth Claeys at  or visit our web page here.
