September 28th 10:30-12:30 PTSA General Membership Meeting
October 10th NO SCHOOL
ATTENTION ALLVOLUNTEERS!!
If you are interested in doing Walkabout, or helping at school for any of our many programs and events you need to do a Volunteer Background Check through the Issaquah school district. If you did it last year you NEED TO RENEW IT and it is SUPER EASY!!
Do you work for a company that matches charitable donations? Starbucks, Microsoft, Boeing and many others have matching programs. Don't forget your employer match when you donate to the IM PTSA! 'Pass the Hat' donations, Angel program donations, and even membership dues are considered tax-deductible contributions and are eligible for matching funds. These funds are an important part of the PTSA's budget, so don't forget to submit your donation for a match!

Are you a Veteran walker? To sign up, please click here. We need YOU! Questions? Contact Julie Dietiker/Blyth Claeys atimswalkabout@gmail.com.
IMS Vision and Hearing Screening Please come help on Monday, November 7th from 7-10 am to make sure that our Middle School is filled with children who can see and hear (no promises on applying those skills). We need a large group of parents (25-30) to make this annual event happen. SIGN UP HERE!
Please remember, everyone needs to have a current ISD volunteer application that has been approved. You can find the link on the IMS website or HERE:

In this role, you would work to educate our PTSA membership on legislative issues that affect our kids. There is a lot of council support for this position so if you are a good editor (turning legislative bills from legalese into understandable sound bites) and/or you are passionate about education, this job is for you! Would you like more information? Contact Kristen Allen-Bentsen if at all interested or have questions.
The Angels of our Community-do you want to be one??
The IMS Angel Student Assistance Program is looking for families that want to purchase or donate items that will support other IMS families that could use help occasionally throughout the school year. If you want your name added to the potential donor list, please contact Kristin Brennock or Elizabeth McIntyre . Thank you in advance for your generosity!
