September 28th 10:30-12:30 PTSA General Membership Meeting
October 10th NO SCHOOL
ATTENTION ALLVOLUNTEERS!!
If you are interested in doing Walkabout, or helping at school for any of our many programs and events you need to do a Volunteer Background Check through the Issaquah school district. If you did it last year you NEED TO RENEW IT and it is SUPER EASY!!
Do you work for a company that matches charitable donations? Starbucks, Microsoft, Boeing and many others have matching programs. Don't forget your employer match when you donate to the IM PTSA! 'Pass the Hat' donations, Angel program donations, and even membership dues are considered tax-deductible contributions and are eligible for matching funds. These funds are an important part of the PTSA's budget, so don't forget to submit your donation for a match!

ASB Magazine Drive STILL NEEDS A FEW FOLKS! Help jump start the year and support our IMS students by volunteering for the ASB (Associated Student Body – student government) Magazine Drive. This is the major ASB fundraiser for the year and provides funds for programs such as school sports, clubs, music trips, drama, socials and more.
We are still in need of a few folks on Tuesday andWednesday of this week. No experience is necessary and it is fun!! Meet new folks and be a part of the IMS community. The IMS PTSA provides the necessary volunteers to make this fundraiser successful. Please consider helping us with the following jobs: 1. Counting Days (counting money and orders) – If you enjoy the sound of a 10-key machine and the clacking of calculators, then the counting job is for you! Work in the library with other volunteers to help count and tabulate the magazine orders received on each collection day. Come in for all or part of the shift as you are able. You can even take a break and have lunch with your student. 2. Prize Days (handing out student prizes) – Come join us during the students' lunch time to help hand out the prizes the students have earned through their industrious selling efforts. The students are super excited to get their prizes, so that makes this an especially fun way to get involved. Come join us, make some new friends and have some laughs. This is a great way to start the new school year! SIGN UP HERE
If you have any questions please contact Renee Barnes .

from 6:30 – 8:00pm. All it takes is this one time training and then you’re set to walk each year. It’s a great way to volunteer in an area that directly impacts your child’s day and always fun to catch up with other parents. The time commitment is up to you, and flexible! Are you a Veteran walker? To sign up, please click here. We need YOU! Questions? Contact Julie Dietiker/Blyth Claeys atimswalkabout@gmail.com.
Do you want to Volunteer from HOME???? Matching Gifts Coordinator Needed for IM PTSA

This position does not require a big time commitment and is almost exclusively online. Great for someone who wants to help but only has time in the evenings! contact Kristen Allen Bentsen or Wendy Shah if remotely interested.
