Rootbeer Floats!!
The IM PTSA will be serving root beer floats at the IMS Grand Opening event on Tuesday, August 30 at 5 pm. We are planning on serving 1,000 floats and we need root beer. If you would like to donate a 2 liter (or two) to help out, please drop it off at the main office of the new building. The office will be open during the following times - The office will be open on Monday, August 29 from 7 am to 3:30 pm. Thank you! Contact Becky Gordon for more information.

If you are interested in doing Walkabout, or helping at school for any of our other many programs and events you need to do a Volunteer Background Check through the Issaquah school district. PICTURE DAY & TEXTBOOK DISTRIBUTION

The IMS staff needs volunteers for both Picture Day and to distribute textbooks to students this Friday, September 2nd. There are two shifts, 8-11 and 11-2. Sign up here. You are required to complete the Issaquah School District Volunteer Registration Process at before being able to volunteer at the school. If you haven't done so already, please complete this process after signing up.
WALKABOUT IS HERE!
The Walkabout program at IMS provides all of our students the reassurance and help they need especially the first weeks of school, but also throughout the school year! We’re excited to welcome back our veteran walkers this first month and looking forward to training many more new parents on Tuesday, September 27th from 6:30 – 8:00pm. All it takes is this one time training and then you’re set to walk each year. It’s a great way to volunteer in an area that directly impacts your child’s day and always fun to catch up with other parents. The time commitment is up to you, and flexible!
