We made it, IMS families!  It's been a year for the record books, but we made it through together.  Thank you to all our wonderful members and volunteers for all their support this year for the IMS learning community.  We'll be working over the summer to ensure that the IMPTSA is ready to help our students, families, and staff members in every way we can in the 2020-21 school year.  Stay safe and have a wonderful summer!

A MESSAGE FOR WALKABOUT VOLUNTEERS NOT RETURNING NEXT YEAR

Thank you to all that participated in the program this year.  Your time is always appreciated!  For those of you moving on from IMS next year who wish to be removed from our WalkAbout distribution list, please send an email with the word “unsubscribe” in the subject line to walkabout@issaquahmiddleptsa.org.

FEELING CREATIVE?  TAKE PART IN NEXT YEAR'S REFLECTIONS COMPETITION!

Each year the National PTA sponsors an art competition for writers, composers, dancers, photographers, and visual artists.  Next year's theme is "I MATTER BECAUSE..."  We want to encourage kids passionate in these areas to get to work on a fabulous piece of art to share at the IMS Reflections contest in the fall. Directions and guidelines can be found HERE.  Questions can be emailed to the district Reflections chairperson Kristen Allen-Bentsen at kallenbentsen@hotmail.com.   Let the theme inspire you and the creativity flow!  We can't wait to see what IMS students come up with!

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE — AMBASSADORS NEEDED!

Settling into a new school district or community can be difficult for students and families. The New Family Ambassador Program strives to ease that transition by pairing existing IMS families with a new family each fall.  Please consider volunteering for this important role.  If you would like to help make a new family feel welcome this fall or for more information,  please email us at familyambassadors@issaquahmiddleptsa.org
