Issaquah Middle School hosts an amazing program called Walkabout. Its purpose is to bring parents into the school to walk the halls among the students in the mornings right before classes start, during lunches, and after school as the kids are getting ready to leave. It’s easy, brief, flexible, and one of few opportunities middle school parents have to be around the kids, and allows IMS to have a positive adult presence at busy times during the school day. Once you receive training, you can choose to participate at whatever level suits you….once a year, every day, or anywhere in between. If you’re interested, please save the date for training:Thursday, Sept. 27 from 7:00-8:30pm.

We are currently at 40% of the membership numbers that we had at this time last year!
Your membership is vital in supporting many of our PTSA programs such as All School Grants, Teacher Classroom Funds, Parent Education and Backpack Bootcamp to name a few. Please consider signing up today. One more bonus, Family and Individual memberships include an IMS Student Directory!
We would love to have you consider volunteering at IMS. All volunteers must complete the online registration and be approved. Once this has been completed, you will be approved. New volunteers will need to complete the entire approval process before being able to volunteer.
