WALKABOUT TRAINING
Thurs, Sept 27 from 7:00-8:30pm
Issaquah Middle School hosts an amazing program called Walkabout.  Its purpose is to bring parents into the school to walk the halls among the students in the mornings right before classes start, during lunches, and after school as the kids are getting ready to leave.  It’s easy, brief, flexible, and one of few opportunities middle school parents have to be around the kids, and allows IMS to have a positive adult presence at busy times during the school day.  You can walk alone or with another parent(s).  Once you receive training, you can choose to participate at whatever level suits you….once a year, every day, or anywhere in between.  If you’re interested, please save the date for training:  Thursday, Sept. 27 from 7:00-8:30pm.

GRAB a FRIEND & HELP IMS at SALMON DAYS!!
Oct 6th and 7th.
We have a great opportunity to partner with the high school for a Salmon Days parking fundraiser, October 6th and 7th. We need your help! Sign up for a two-hour shift at the school that weekend. If you're a parent of a 7th grader or any student who needs community service hours, bring them with you. This is a great way for dads, grandparents, working parents, parents new to the school to get involved. It's fun, easy and you will get free Salmon Days parking for your family!! SIGN-UP HERE!

VOLUNTEERING AT IMS
We would love to have you consider volunteering at IMS.  All volunteers must complete the online registration and be approved.  If you were approved to volunteer last year, you will need to sign into the system and go to your check-off list.  There is a 2018-19 Volunteer Orientation added to your list.  Once this has been completed, you will be approved.  New volunteers will need to complete the entire approval process before being able to volunteer.
