WALKABOUT TRAINING
Thurs, Sept 28 from 7:00-8:30pm
Issaquah Middle School hosts an amazing program called Walkabout.  Its purpose is to bring parents into the school to walk the halls among the students in the mornings right before classes start, during lunches, and after school as the kids are getting ready to leave.  It’s easy, brief, flexible, and one of few opportunities middle school parents have to be around the kids, and allows IMS to have a positive adult presence at busy times during the school day.  You can walk alone or with another parent(s).  Once you receive training, you can choose to participate at whatever level suits you….once a year, every day, or anywhere in between.  If you’re interested, please save the date for training:  Thursday, Sept. 28 from 7:00-8:30pm.

SALMON DAYS. Grab a fried and help out at the school most important fundraising event!
Oct 6th and 7th.
We are in need of two co-chairs for Salmon Days parking. IMS has a great opportunity this year to partner with the high school in offering paid parking for the festival. The time commitment is primarily during Salmon Days weekend, Oct. 6-7 and you will have lots of support. Perfect for working parents, dads, etc.
If you are looking for a fun and easy way to volunteer, grab a friend and help out the school!  http://issaquahmiddleptsa.org/ContactUs

VOLUNTEERING AT IMS
We would love to have you consider volunteering at IMS.  All volunteers must complete the online registration and be approved.  If you were approved to volunteer last year, you will need to sign into the system and go to your check-off list.  There is a 2018-19 Volunteer Orientation added to your list.  Once this has been completed, you will be approved.  New volunteers will need to complete the entire approval process before being able to volunteer.
