PANTHER DAYS. We still need volunteers for tomorrow and Wednesday.
Aug 21 and 22 – 9am to 2pm
We need lots of help with Panther Days!  No experience is necessary; this is a great way to meet new parents, catch up with friends and get school off to a positive start!  There is a morning and afternoon shift on both August 21 and 22!
Don’t forget to update your annual Volunteer Application
High School students are welcome to volunteer (max of 6).

ParentWiser - QUEEN BEES & MASTERMINDS: Navigating Friendships, Social Conflicts & Popularity

Want to empower your kids' with a positive social life? ParentWiser presents parent talk & book signing with youth behavior expert Rosalind Wiseman, author of Queen Bees Wannabes and Masterminds & Wingmen. Rosalind Wiseman pulls back the curtain on friendships & social hierarchies and gives practical advice for teaching youth how to navigate common yet complex social situations and break through communication barriers. For parents of K-12. Free for PTSA members in Issaquah School District, $10 donation for non-members/guests.  REGISTER HERE! 

PACKET STUFFING. Opportunity for 7th grade students to earn volunteer hours.
August 30th
Come help the PTSA stuff First Day packets! Parents, this is a great chance for 7th and 8th grade students to earn volunteer hours, but they need to be accompanied by a parent who can also help.

SALMON DAYS. Grab a fried and help out at the school most important fundraising event!
Oct 6th and 7th
We are in need of two co-chairs for Salmon Days parking. IMS has a great opportunity this year to partner with the high school in offering paid parking for the festival. The time commitment is primarily during Salmon Days weekend, Oct. 6-7 and you will have lots of support. Perfect for working parents, dads, etc.

VOLUNTEERING AT IMS
We would love to have you consider volunteering at IMS.  All volunteers must complete the online registration and be approved.  If you were approved to volunteer last year, you will need to sign into the system and go to your check-off list.  There is a 2018-19 Volunteer Orientation added to your list.  Once this has been completed, you will be approved.  New volunteers will need to complete the entire approval process before being able to volunteer.
