Issaquah Middle PTSA is so excited to announce a partnership with Strideline socks.  Strideline has designed a special IMS sock!  These socks come in three colors and are selling for only 7.00 a pair!!  (In stores, these socks retail for 18.00)
The best part?  When you buy a pair of socks, the proceeds will go to the PTSA’s Angel Fund, helping IMS students struggling with basic needs.

ParentWiser - Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety

Do you know anyone speechless? Loss of word, thought, purpose? Chances are, someone in your household, even kids, may suffer from anxietyRegister here to view Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety, a film documentary with local Q&A experts focusing on anxiety , its causes and effects, research, and tools providing resources and hope. 
ParentWiser proudly offers 2 viewings: Jan 24 at Issaquah HSor Jan 30 at Liberty HS.
Teens and tweens welcome to attend with parents (recommended for ages 12+).  FREE for PTSA Members of Issaquah District schools, $10 donation requested of non-members.
Vote Yes 3 Times by February 13th!  
Our community is being asked to renew 3 levies that are expiring in 2018. Like a subscription, levies must be renewed and replaced or the funding will be lost. Your local school tax rate will not increase. Visit for more information.

The Issaquah School District is known for sound fiscal management of taxpayer dollars. ISD has had 15 consecutive clean financial and accountability audits and maintains a Moody’s Aaa rating, which is the highest credit rating possible!
Does your student need Community Service Hours?
Join Parents, PTA members, and Community members on Wednesday, January 24th to “Honk and Wave” to support passage of the February 2018 Levy! (2) times: 7-8:30am and 5-6:30pm. Click here for a link to sign up and list of locations near you...the more the merrier!

IM PTSA: Nomination Committee:
The IM PTSA is looking to put together its Nominating Committee; this committee will be responsible for putting together a slate of officers to run our PTSA in the 2018-2019 school year.  If you are someone with lots of connections, we need you to help us put together a great leadership team for next year.  The work involves talking to interested parents, answering questions and sending emails and involves a team of people!  Please contact Kristen Allen-Bentsen at if you can help or for more information.
ONLINE IMS Directory now available!!
If you are an IMS PTSA member you can go online to the IMS PTSA website and access the directory. Use it for holiday cards, playdates, invitations etc. It has only been made accessible to those folks who have purchased an IMS PTSA membership. If you are not a member and want access to this awesome perk you can become a PTSA member HERE!! If you have questions about the directory, please contact Tara Moe at or Rachel Stoner at
The Angel Program provides funds for IMS students to ensure their basic needs are fulfilled. It is a confidential behind-the-scenes PTSA program made possible by monetary donations from the parents of IMS.
Please consider donating to this program donate on-line or send/deliver a check made out to the IMS PTSA to the school and reference the Angel Program in the memo line.
The Angel program might need some extra supplies (furniture, bedding, toiletries, etc.) throughout the school year.  Please sign-up for these extra items and add your name to the - Angel Student Assistance program - on the volunteer interest page.
If you are in need of help this year, please contact the school counselors directly, the Angel Program would love to support your child.
