IMS PARTY CHAPERONES NEEDED

The first IMS ASB party of the year is Wednesday, November 22th at the end of the school day and volunteers are needed to help chaperone from 1:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Please join us for a dinner at Chipotle on November 30th at 4pm - 8pm in Issaquah! IMS PTSA is very excited to partner with Chipotle for the first time to help raise money for our school programs. Chipotle will donate 50% of the proceeds to our PTSA. In order to get the credit please print the flyer, show a copy on mobile phone or simply tell a cashier that you are supporting the IMS PTSA fundraiser. Chipotle is located at 755 NW Gilman Blvd. Feed your family and support our PTSA! Thank you!
 
IMS JOINING ISSAQUAH FOOD BANK TO PROVIDE FOR HOLIDAY GIFT BARN!
The Holiday Gift Barn Program is a Holiday Gift Program for ISD children ages birth to 18. The Issaquah Food Bank is going to turn the Pickering Barn into a Department Store for their clients to do their Holiday shopping. 
IMS is participating through Homeroom classes where age range and a gender were assigned to each class to shop for. 
We'll need 6 drivers w/big cars on Tuesday, December 5th to transport all the items to Pickering Barn.

THE STUDENT DIRECTORY IS NOW AVILABLE! Have you purchased your membership?
If you haven't joined PTSA this year, please help us reach our membership goal by joining today!  The only way to access our new online directory is by purchasing your annual membership.
We're off to a great start so far, this year with 67% participation in our PTSA membership.  Our goal is 100%.  Did you know that your membership benefits include discounts to many businesses that support WSPTA's mission?  Some examples are discounts to Avis, FedEx Office, Great Wolf Lodge, Silverwood, Wild Waves and Sylvan Learning.  Join today to access these benefits! 

DO YOU MISS WORKING ONE ON ONE WITH STUDENTS? 
Now you have an opportunity!  Mr. Raff, our LRC 1 teacher is looking for parents willing to commit weekly or biweekly to spending 6th and 7th period in his classroom.  Volunteers will be working one on one with students helping them navigate academic assignments and stay on task.  Please contact Kristen Allen-Bentsen at kallenbentsen@hotmail.com for more information. 

ANGEL PROGRAM
The Angel Program provides funds for IMS students to ensure their basic needs are fulfilled. It is a confidential behind-the-scenes PTSA program made possible by monetary donations from the parents of IMS.
Please consider donating to this program donate on-line or send/deliver a check made out to the IMS PTSA to the school and reference the Angel Program in the memo line.
The Angel program might need some extra supplies (furniture, bedding, toiletries, etc.) throughout the school year.  Please sign-up for these extra items and add your name to the - Angel Student Assistance program - on the volunteer interest page.
If you are in need of help this year, please contact the school counselors directly, the Angel Program would love to support your child.
