WALKABOUT TRAINING
Thursday, Oct 26th at 6pm
Did you miss WalkAbout training?
We are offering a second and final training of the year on Thursday October 26th at 6:00 in the IMS Library.  Come hear about the program from principal Seth Adams and get involved in this vibrant program that enhances community at IMS!
WONDERFUL WALKABOUT PARENTS!
Did you attend our training this September and are wondering why you have not received an email from us with the link?  We have had several emails that have bounced back, probably because we read them incorrectly from the sign in sheet. If this is you, please reach out to IMSWalkabout@gmail.com and help us straighten out our email address for you. Thank you so much! We don't want anyone to miss out on being a part of the team!
 ASB MAGAZINE DRIVE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Oct 26th to 27th
We need your help to make this fundraiser successful. Please consider helping us with the following jobs:
1.  Counting Days (counting money and orders) - If you enjoy the sound of a 10-key machine and the clacking of calculators, then the counting job is for you!  Work with other volunteers to help count and tabulate the magazine orders received on each collection day.  Although the time slot starts at 8:15, please feel free to sign up if you can join us later in the morning (please just send an email with the time you will arrive). The school can't run the Magazine Drive without our valuable Counters.
2.  Prize Days (handing out student prizes) - Come join us during the students' lunch time to help hand out the prizes the students have earned through their industrious selling efforts.  The students are super excited to get their prizes, so that makes this an especially fun way to get involved.
SIGN-UP-HERE!
If you have any questions please contact Pete Norby at poolnorby@comcast.net.
Thank you so much for your help.
MORE VISION AND HEARING VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Monday, Nov. 6
We need a crew of 30 parents to help us check student's vision and hearing. It's only a 3 hours commitment, 7:45 to 10:45. No training needed, we provide that at the time. This is a short and sweet way to help the school and students. Please join us, we can't do it without you!

CORPORATE MATCHING - DOUBLE YOUR DONATION!
Every year we miss out on thousands of dollars in donations. Don't let this happen! Many local employers offer matching gift programs. Click here to find out how to check whether your or your spouse's company is one.
Most employers with matching gift programs make it easy for their employees to match donations. Usually it's a matter of filling out a form or submitting a simple request online. If you've donated to Annual Giving Fund, Angel Program, PTSA membership, Gift-A-Book, be sure to take advantage of matching so that your donation can be doubled!
Tax ID is available by request.

They're back....and available only one time this year! This year's design features BE KIND on the front and the word "kindness" in different languages on the back.  Shirts are preshrunk cotton, adult sizes S-3XL, and will come in two colors: Metro Blue (a dark blue) with white writing and Pastel Tie Dye with blue writing.   Please consider donating an extra shirt so everyone can have one!
