Announcing the Nominees for the 2021-22 PTSA Board
The 2020-21 Issaquah Middle PTSA nominating committee hereby places the following names into nomination for the 2021-22 Board of Director positions to be elected at the next IMPTSA General Membership Meeting on May 26, 2021.

For the Office of VP of Communications: Tracy Cooke
For the Office of VP of Programs: Corinna Fortune
For the Office of VP of Ways & Means: Mark Clemens

The nominating committee has confirmed that all nominees have been a member of a PTA for at least 15 days prior to the election, and meet other requirements as stated in the WSPTA Uniform Bylaws.

Next Week! PTSA General Membership Meeting
Join us for our last PTSA meeting of the school year! Next Wednesday, May 26 at 6:30PM via Zoom. We will be electing IMPTSA officers for the 2021-22 school year and Principal Reckling will be our guest speaker. Please submit any questions for Principal Reckling here by noon on Wednesday, May 26. â€‹Meeting documents, agenda and the Zoom link will be posted closer to the date on the IMPTSA website.



Outstanding Educator Award Recipients Announced
Every year, the IMPTSA solicits nominations for our Outstanding Educator Award, recognizing staff members who have provided outstanding educational opportunities for youth that are above and beyond the normal scope of their job. The recipients of this year’s award were announced at this past week’s staff meeting. The winners for 2020-21 are:

Dining for Dollars @ Yum-E Yogurt 
Join Us! Wednesday, May 26 from 12 - 4 pm at Yum-E Yogurt along Front Street. They will be donating 10% of proceeds back to the IM PTSA during those hours.


From the Issaquah Schools Foundation

New Academic Grants for Students Available 
To improve accessibility to academic support services, the Issaquah Schools Foundation is offering grants for students who need help to pay for tutoring and other academic assistance programs. 

This academic grant program for students is available to all Issaquah School District students K-12 and grants will be awarded up to $500 per student. Applications are currently open with a June 4, 2021 deadline. Grants will be awarded in mid-June.
