WalkAbout Is Back! Parents, We Need YOU!
Want a peek into middle school life while making a positive difference? WalkAbout is restarting at IMS, and we're looking for friendly parent and caregiver volunteers to bring a little extra calm, kindness, and connection to our busy school day.
Help out before school, during lunch, or after school. No special skills needed, just a friendly face and a willingness to show up. Bonus: You might even spot your middle schooler in the wild!
Come See What WalkAbout Is All About!
Curious about WalkAbout? Join us for an orientation! We'll take the mystery out of the role with practical tips on where to walk, how to interact with students, what to watch for, and when to involve staff. Then join Ric, a seasoned WalkAbout parent, for some firsthand experience!
Meet in the IMS office.
Can't make these dates? We're happy to arrange an orientation on a day that works for you! Contact walkabout@issaquahmiddleptsa.org with questions or to schedule a time.
Ready to WalkAbout?
