Please join us for a dinner at Chipotle on November 30th at 4pm - 8pm in Issaquah! IMS PTSA is very excited to partner with Chipotle for the first time to help raise money for our school programs. Chipotle will donate 50% of the proceeds to our PTSA. In order to get the credit please print the flyer, show a copy on mobile phone or simply tell a cashier that you are supporting the IMS PTSA fundraiser. IMS IS JOINING ISSAQUAH FOOD BANK FOR HOLIDAY GIFT BARN!
This Holiday Gift Program is for Issaquah School District children ages birth-18. The Issaquah Food Bank is going to turn the Pickering Barn into a Department Store for their clients to do their Holiday shopping.
IMS will participate in this program through Homeroom classes. Each Homeroom class will randomly be assigned an age range and a gender to shop for. Gifts should be new, unopened, and not wrapped.
In addition, the PTSA have gift tags of snowmen and evergreen trees on gate near the front doors of the school with gifts to buy. Feel free to choose something off the gate with your student and bring it to school to contribute to the Holiday Gift Barn. PTSA will also be priding refreshments and ASB will be collecting donations before the Orchestra (November 14th), Band (November 16th) and Chorus (December 5th) concerts. The proceeds will go toward the Issaquah Food Bank and Holiday Gift Barn.Bring your donations early and watch the gifts pile up! Items will be collected in Homeroom classes until December 5th. DO YOU MISS WORKING ONE ON ONE WITH STUDENTS?
Now you have an opportunity! Mr. Raff, our LRC 1 teacher is looking for parents willing to commit weekly or biweekly to spending 6th and 7th period in his classroom. Volunteers will be working one on one with students helping them navigate academic assignments and stay on task. ANGEL PROGRAM
The Angel Program provides funds for IMS students to ensure their basic needs are fulfilled. It is a confidential behind-the-scenes PTSA program made possible by monetary donations from the parents of IMS.
Please consider donating to this program donate on-line or send/deliver a check made out to the IMS PTSA to the school and reference the Angel Program in the memo line.
The Angel program might need some extra supplies (furniture, bedding, toiletries, etc.) throughout the school year. Please sign-up for these extra items and add your name to the - Angel Student Assistance program - on the volunteer interest page.
If you are in need of help this year, please contact the school counselors directly, the Angel Program would love to support your child.
We're off to a great start so far, this year with 67% participation in our PTSA membership. Our goal is 100%.
