IMS WALK & BIKE TO SCHOOL WEEK
From Oct 2nd to Oct 6th
All students and staff are encouraged to walk or bike to school to promote fitness, reduce car emissions and ease traffic congestion around schools.
We will celebrate with two days of treats & prizes:
- Wednesday, October 4th is International Walk to School Day. We hope we have a record number of participants! Panthers can lead the way! From 9:50 to 10:15am parent volunteers will greet all participants near the bike racks and hand out snacks and a Panther Buck to students who walk or bike to school.
- Friday, October 6th we again celebrate your students' accomplishments. From 7:45 until 8:15am., City of Issaquah staff members and parent volunteers will greet students that walked or biked to school and hand out prices.
We are looking for volunteers, if you are able to help or have questions please contact elisabeth.marcenac@gmail.com

SALMON DAYS PARKING NEEDS YOU - YOU GET FREE PARKING!!
We still need a few more volunteers to work the parking lot, particularly Sunday, October 8th from 12pm to 2pm. Shifts are only 2 hours and as you know money raised goes directly back to your kids, teachers, grants, classes and programs! If you have a 7th grader or older you can bring them to help and receive Volunteer hours. The best part of this fundraiser is you can have free Salmon days parking for your family!!

ASB MAGAZINE DRIVE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Oct 10th to 18th
We need your help to make this fundraiser successful. Please consider helping us with the following jobs:
1.  Counting Days (counting money and orders) - If you enjoy the sound of a 10-key machine and the clacking of calculators, then the counting job is for you!  Work with other volunteers to help count and tabulate the magazine orders received on each collection day.  Although the time slot starts at 8:15, please feel free to sign up if you can join us later in the morning (please just send an email with the time you will arrive). The school can't run the Magazine Drive without our valuable Counters.
2.  Prize Days (handing out student prizes) - Come join us during the students' lunch time to help hand out the prizes the students have earned through their industrious selling efforts.  The students are super excited to get their prizes, so that makes this an especially fun way to get involved.

If you have any questions please contact Pete Norby at poolnorby@comcast.net.
Thank you so much for your help.
